A request for drawings begins with what the drawings must solve. Comparing layouts, setting furniture dimensions and guiding construction require different levels of detail. We agree the drawings and delivery format against the measured space.
Verify dimensions and needs
We review available plans, photos and use requirements. Doors, windows, columns and service points must be checked before drawings are relied on for construction.
Choose the right drawing level
Layout options, measured plans, fitted-furniture details and 3D images serve different purposes. A visualisation alone is not a manufacturing or installation drawing.
Agree delivery and site use
The drawing set, revision process and file format are stated in the proposal. If implementation is included, drawings need checking against materials and actual site conditions.
Frequently asked questions
Is an estate-agent floor plan enough?
It is a useful starting point, but openings, recesses and service locations may differ. Final dimensions must be checked on site.
Is a 3D image the same as a working drawing?
No. It communicates the design idea; dimensions, joints and material details for fabrication or installation are separate.
Do interior drawings replace permit drawings?
No. Official architectural or engineering submissions have different requirements and may need authorised professionals and signatures.
